Knights of Sidonia: Love Woven in the Stars (『シドニアの騎士 あいつむぐほし』, Sidonia no Kishi: Ai Tsumugu Hoshi) is a film in the Knights of Sidonia franchise. It features an original story written under the supervision of series creator Tsutomu Nihei.[1][2] Love Woven in the Stars was officially announced on July 3, 2020, and it released on June 4, 2021 in Japan and September 13, 2021 internationally.
Love Woven in the Stars replaced the planned third season of the Knights of Sidonia anime, which had been announced in June 2017.[3][4] The events of the film take place after seasons one and two of the anime, and conclude the story of the series.
